Malta and Bahrain sign double taxation agreement - Monday, April 12, 2010

Malta has signed a double taxation avoidance agreement with Bahrain, which is largely aimed at facilitating trade exchanges, promoting investment, as well as encouraging bilateral co-operation in tax and economic matters between the two countries, as well as within the Gulf Region as a whole. Malta has already in place similar double taxation agreements with Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
