Reuben successfully completed his Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) Degree at the University of Malta.in 2004 and is a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Auditor. Following graduation, Reuben started his professional career as a senior auditor at medium-sized audit firm for four years. During this time, he gained substantial audit experience across a wide range of industry sectors. Reuben was also involved in various assignments in risk management, business plans and budgeting exercises. In 2008 Reuben joined EMD (Malta), where he held the position of Accounts Manager within the advisory department up to 2015. In January 2016 he was promoted to Associate Director. He is mainly responsible for coordinating the planning and assignment of tasks in the advisory department. Reuben has acquired significant experience and provides accounting advice and support in the implementation of IFRS and GAPSME requirements. He was also directly involved in the preparation and drafting of various business plans and financial projections mainly related to financial services and gaming companies in obtaining their respective licencse. He has been also involved in the Fintech industry with special focus on their accounting related aspects.
